Through its Data Privacy and Accessibility activities, 1EdTech vets the policies of hundreds of edtech companies of all types annually, using open standard privacy and accessibility rubrics designed and utilized by 1EdTech members. This process gives institutions and suppliers the helping hand they need to reduce the time and worry spent determining whether a particular edtech tool meets today’s data privacy and accessibility expectations. In this module, you will learn to guide institutions and edtech suppliers toward secure data use, collection, and sharing, as well as meeting accessibility requirements. You will gain hands-on experience with the 1EdTech Data Privacy rubric and vetting process. Additionally, you will learn best practices for conversations around data privacy with suppliers.

Note: This module is part of the TACL Program (www.1edtech.org/tacl). You'll be required to attend this online workshop and complete a project and assessment.

Upon successful completion, you will earn the Data Privacy and Accessibility badge. To earn TACL certification, you will need to complete all required modules.
